Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Tampa, Florida.

Duties

• Develop BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Streamlit
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure clean, accessible, and well-structured datasets
• Align BI development efforts with strategic initiatives and KPIs
• Troubleshoot complex data issues, including inconsistencies, gaps, and transformation logic
• Optimize SQL queries, Python code, and data models for performance
• Automate manual reporting tasks and improve data workflows
• Gather and translate reporting requirements into scalable BI solutions
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Provide training and support on BI tools and dashboards
• Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models
• Ensure adherence to data governance, integrity, and compliance standards
  
  

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and ETL processes
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform root-cause analysis
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify trends and anomalies
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric preferred
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as: Python and R for data manipulation or automation
• Ability to interpret business processes and define meaningful KPIs
• Strong communication skills for translating business goals into data visualizations and insights

The approximate pay range for this position is between $42.00 and $60.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
