Junior Python Data Developer/Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days in office)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + 10-15% bonus

The Opportunity

They are seeking a proactive Junior Python Data Developer/Engineer to join our small, agile team.

What You'll Do

• Work on end-to-end technical functions across diverse ESG data projects
• Collaborate closely with a small, dynamic team on varied sustainability initiatives
• Take ownership of technical solutions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Gain unique exposure to ESG data processing and financial services technology

Essential Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python (particularly Pandas)
• Solid SQL skills
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Data engineering/development experience (1+ year)

Experience:

• Previous work in small team environments
• Ability to hit the ground running and work independently
• Proven track record in data development projects

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of ESG data and sustainability metrics
• Previous experience in financial services
• Familiarity with investment industry data workflows
