About the Company - An established Specialty Engineering and Design Manufacturing Firm in the Wilmington, NC, area. This is an on-site Role. The company is focused on developing and commercializing safety solutions for Life sciences and Technology industries.
About the Role—As a Design Engineer, You will establish and maintain a fully burdened cost accounting/recording system and supply the financial analyses required for strategic long-term planning and operating efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly closing process including work-order reconciliations and inventory reconciliation.
- Support the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Support the cost of specialty products
- Investigate any significant manufacturing variance. Review and close work orders. Review, investigate, and ensure transactional integrity.
Perform any required cost rollup, including checking the data for a bill of materials, routing, setting up a part number, and the manufacturing shrinkage rate.
Qualifications
Degree(s)
3-5 years of Progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing assembly environment experience REQUIRED
