About the role

We’re looking for a hunter, not a passenger. As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll own the South London patch — driving growth through contractors, end users, and wholesalers. This isn’t about inheriting an easy territory; it’s about grafting, growing, and building something you can call yours.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver sustainable sales growth across your territory.
• Build strong relationships with wholesalers, contractors, and end users.
• Open doors, create demand, and grow NVC’s presence in South London.
• Develop and execute a sales plan to hit and exceed targets.
• Provide value-engineered solutions that help customers win projects.
• Report on pipeline, wins/losses, and market trends to stay ahead.

What we’re looking for

• Proven success in B2B sales (lighting/electrical industry preferred).
• A natural hunter with experience generating opportunities and closing deals.
• Commercial acumen to price smartly and spot opportunities.
• Confident engaging contractors, wholesalers, and senior stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and driven by results.
