About the role
We’re looking for a hunter, not a passenger. As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll own the South London patch — driving growth through contractors, end users, and wholesalers. This isn’t about inheriting an easy territory; it’s about grafting, growing, and building something you can call yours.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver sustainable sales growth across your territory.
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers, contractors, and end users.
- Open doors, create demand, and grow NVC’s presence in South London.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to hit and exceed targets.
- Provide value-engineered solutions that help customers win projects.
- Report on pipeline, wins/losses, and market trends to stay ahead.
What we’re looking for
- Proven success in B2B sales (lighting/electrical industry preferred).
- A natural hunter with experience generating opportunities and closing deals.
- Commercial acumen to price smartly and spot opportunities.
- Confident engaging contractors, wholesalers, and senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and driven by results.
