We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Engineer to join our team and support our business growth within the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) sector.

About the Company

Watania Advanced Systems is an Egyptian company specializing in Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and Fire Suppression Solutions within the MEP and construction sectors. The company provides reliable engineering solutions and works with consultants, contractors, developers, and clients across various commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities

-Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the MEP and construction market.

-Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and key decision-makers.

-Generate and qualify new leads and sales opportunities.

-Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to project award.

-Conduct market research and identify upcoming MEP projects, tenders, and business opportunities.

-Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to provide suitable MEP solutions.

-Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.

-Follow up on submitted proposals and negotiate with clients to support successful project acquisition.

-Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements.

-Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client interactions, and sales activities.

-Achieve agreed business development, sales, and revenue targets.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

-3–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Technical Sales, or Business Development Engineering.

-Good knowledge and understanding of the MEP industry and building services.

-Previous experience in MEP contracting, construction, engineering services, HVAC, or building services is highly preferred.

-Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, developers, facility owners, and end clients.

-Strong understanding of the sales cycle, lead generation, opportunity management, negotiation, and client relationship management.

-Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

-Commercially driven with strong business development and sales skills.

-Good command of English.
