Job Description
We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our team in Michigan supporting our client. The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst for ROOTLOGIK, you will be in direct contact with various client representatives and responsible for managing business processes, data, reports and regular deliverables to support their business. Key responsibilities include:
- Interface with the client to represent the work being done by ROOTLOGIK
- Consult with management to define and document business requirements in detail for the ROOTLOGIK Development team
- Work with the ROOTLOGIK development team to outline a work plan and deliverables
- Manage client expectations and developer availability to see that new applications and application changes are delivered on time and within budget
- Understand both the business process of the applications as well as the technical architecture to bridge the gap between IT and business and identify opportunities
- Analyze complex problems with multiple data sets to suggest potential solutions and enhancements
- Respond to client ad hoc requests in a timely manner which could include, simple data draws, in-depth data analysis, user application training, how-to questions or application troubleshooting
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Fluency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Required)
- SQL Experience: 1-2 years (Preferred)
- Prior experience with data and reporting tools (JasperReports iReport, Power BI and Tableau) (Preferred)
