    Building / Maintenance Surveyor - Client side Leisure.


    Are you a Building/Maintenance/ FM Surveyor with expertise in building and facilities management?

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established internal team managing a diverse portfolio of pubs and restaurants across Essex and East Anglia.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver the company’s maintenance and repairs strategy, managing planned and reactive maintenance and small CapEx projects.
    • Identify investment opportunities within the pub and hotel estate to unlock its full potential.
    • Manage the maintenance of c.90 properties, ensuring safety, legal compliance, and high standards.
    • Oversee revenue and capital budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and value.
    • Deliver CapEx projects to the highest standards.
    • Maintain accurate building maintenance data across internal systems.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies such as EHO, Fire Officers, and Planning Control.
    • Proactively address maintenance issues, managing key suppliers and stakeholders effectively.


    What You’ll Need:

    • Proven experience in a building / Maintenance / FM role.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful relationships.
    • Capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
    • Experience in large organisations or the retail/licensed sector (desirable).
    • Chartered CIOB, CABE, or RICS qualification (desirable) or willingness to work towards one.
    • You must hold a valid driving licence to travel regularly to sites and travel throughout the patch..
