A boutique investment firm based around Bond Street, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper with strong payroll experience. This is a newly created role following a period of growth and offers the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Finance and Operations across a broad range of responsibilities, with particular focus on payroll. It would suit someone looking for a hands-on finance role in a small, professional, and growing business.

The successful candidate will take ownership of payroll processes, working with UK and overseas providers to ensure accurate and compliant payroll runs. They will also assist with the monthly management accounts process, prepare journals, reconcile accounts, and support budgeting and forecasting. There will be involvement in transactional finance, including invoice processing and expenses, as well as the opportunity to support systems improvements and audit preparation.

Applicants must be part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) and have a strong understanding of payroll and / or compensation accounting, ideally gained within a financial services or international business environment. Experience across transactional finance and bookkeeping is essential, and candidates should be proactive, organised, and confident working in a small team environment. Strong Excel skills and comfort with finance systems are also important.

The firm offers a very generous base salary of £60,000–£80,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus and full study support where applicable.
