At the journey-level, this role requires independent judgment and initiative, managing duties in alignment with established policies and procedures. The position is distinguished from the Assistant-level by its autonomy and from the Senior-level by its complexity, as the Senior role involves program management and staff supervision. We are looking for someone who: • Has a strong technical and scientific background in water resources or a related field• Is open-minded and capable of seeing problems from multiple perspectives and identifying practical solutions to best suit the given circumstances• Is flexible and a quick learner, and is able to adjust work products based on the latest scientific findings or policy/regulatory updates• Is a strong communicator, able to clearly and cohesively convey key messages to a wide range of audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
