We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Planner to join our team in Emeryville, California. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in supporting distribution functions within the Health, Beauty, Cosmetics, and General Merchandise departments. The ideal candidate is adept at multitasking, thrives in fast-paced environments, and demonstrates excellent decision-making skills under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing distribution processes for Health, Beauty, Cosmetics, and General Merchandise departments.
• Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth execution of team projects.
• Update reports and contribute to analytical tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and address challenges in the supply chain.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills, such as PivotTables and data analysis, to support planning tasks.
• Ensure compliance with supply chain management protocols and procedures.
• Work both independently and within a team to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to inventory management processes to optimize stock levels.
• Support decision-making through effective problem-solving and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics and inventory management.
• Experience with Oracle Supply Chain Management or similar systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining independence.
