Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive accounts payable process, which includes verification, coding, data entry, payment approvals, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist in processing credit card transactions, managing employee expense reports, and reconciling statements.
  • Prepare and evaluate accounts payable reports to ensure precise reconciliations.
  • Issue, verify, and process production and project purchase orders.
  • Facilitate raw material purchase orders, receiving, inventory adjustments, and month-end cost reconciliations.
  • Address vendor and employee inquiries pertaining to invoices, expenses, and check requests.
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including verification and reconciliation of timesheets.
  • Generate payroll reports from the HRIS system and distribute them accordingly.
  • Provide front desk support as required, including answering calls and welcoming visitors.
  • Execute general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
  • Maintain precise records and documentation within the accounting department.
  • Assist in special accounting projects as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Excellent numeracy and reconciliation abilities, coupled with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, construction, or manufacturing is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in accounting or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Pay: \(18.00 - \)24.74 per hour
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts
  • Location: On-site in Columbia Falls, MT
