The Capital Markets Analyst provides financial analysis, due diligence and closing support for Affinius Capital’s commercial real estate mortgage borrowing activities.

Job Description
The Capital Markets Analyst provides financial analysis, due diligence and closing support for Affinius Capital’s commercial real estate mortgage borrowing activities.
Essential Duties
- Assist with financial modeling to analyze and compare various lender loan covenants and derivative options.
- Compile and input quotes received on a financing request into a lender quote matrix.
- Coordinate, compile and provide property-related due diligence materials to lenders. Coordinate with mortgage brokers, appraisers and other due diligence vendors as required.
- Create financing memorandums, fund approval memos and loan summaries as needed.
- Maintain and input accurate loan information into pipeline report and 3 rd party software as needed.
- Assist in gathering and distributing post-closing loan information.
- Assist in the validation and maintenance of debt information as a part of Affinius Capital's data initiative.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field.
- Commercial real estate industry work experience is preferred.
- Excel and ARGUS experience is preferred.
- Exposure to and firm understanding of financial concepts with time value of money.
- Ability to regularly work extended hours and travel as needed.
- Must be willing to work on-site in the San Antonio office.
- Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize assignments to meet numerous deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
