Milk Studios Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join our accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function for both our LA and NYC offices by ensuring timely and accurate processing of client payments, issuing invoices and assisting with account reconciliations. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Generate and send accurate client invoices

• Monitor incoming payments and allocate them correctly within the accounting system

• Follow up on outstanding invoices via email

• Facilitate a healthy relationship between the accounting department and other departments

• Maintain and update client records, including contact details and payment terms

• Work with internal departments to respond to client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies

• Support the financial controller with ad hoc administrative tasks and reporting

• Ensure compliance with Milk company policies and accounting standards

• Full-time role, in office Monday through Friday at Milk Studios in Hollywood, CA

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1-3 years of experience in AP, AR or general accounting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc)

• NetSuite experience preferred

• Excellent analytical, communication, time management and organizational skills

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Eagerness to improve processes

• 2+ references required
