Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing and managing outgoing payments, ensuring all invoices are accurate, approved, and paid on time. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices and payment requests

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports

• Enter invoices into the accounting system

• Prepare and process check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions

• Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed

• Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred)

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
